    Last week I had a friend who lost her voice due to a cold. It was very hard for her to communicate her needs to her family and friends. She tried writing everything down, but that took too long. She tried making hand signs and arm motions to get her point across, but the signs were easily misinterpreted and she felt like everyone was laughing at her. Finally, she resigned to communicating as little as possible and doing everything for herself.     A Time For All Things As we fight off the bitter cold and scrape endless layers of ice off the windows of our cars it’s hard to rejoice to the Lord and sing his praises. It is much easier to rejoice with our toes in the sand on a sunny day with a slight breeze through our hair.
